ALRIGHT LOVE, création 2007 est reprise et adaptée pour une nouvelle équipe de danseur·ses dans le cadre de l'Appel à projets patrimoine culturel, danse ! 2019.

​

Au travers d'ALRIGHT LOVE, Corinne ROCHET et Nicholas Pettit interrogent notre propension au bonheur et créaient une pièce décalée proche par certains aspects de l'humour des Monty Python. Chorégraphiée avec finesse et justesse, ALRIGHT LOVE nous offre un espace de jeu ou les règles chaque fois renouvelées par les interprètes sur le plateau nous conduisent à traverser un itinéraire chorégraphique à la fois absurde, tendre et poétique. Faisant écho à des situations puisées dans l'immense source d'inspiration qu'est notre quotidien.

ALRIGHT LOVE, created in 2007 is now being reworked and adapted for a new group of dancers as part of the Cultural Heritage Call for Projects, dance! 2019.

​

With ALRIGHT LOVE, Corinne ROCHET and Nicholas Rochet question our propensity for happiness and create an offbeat piece that is bordering on certain aspects of the humour found in the Monty Python series and films. Choreographed with finesse and precision, ALRIGHT LOVE offers us a playground where the rules are consistently renewed by the performers on stage. This leads us through a choreographic journey that is simultaneously absurd, tender and poetic. Echoing situations drawn from the immense source of inspiration that is our daily life.

En 2024, Pettit*Rochet reçoivent une bourse de la FONDATION GIVEL pour la construction d’une théorie et pratique chorégraphique de l’eau dans le cadre du projet « La Peau de l’eau ».

Devenir " fluide ", c'est ce que les chorégraphes Pettit*Rochet, proposent comme recherche. À partir de l'imagerie, des sensations et de la dynamique du matériau " eau ", Nicholas Pettit et Corinne Rochet explorent les thèmes du souffle, de l'énergie et de l'élan. A travers ce processus, ils développent un vocabulaire gestuel basé sur la fluidité et la liquidité. Entre improvisation et apprentissage, seul ou à plusieurs, les chorégraphes nous invitent à explorer les principes de mouvement d'une vague, d'un vortex, d'une ondulation, d'un flux et d'un reflux. Une approche qui encourage et développe la flexibilité, l'adaptabilité et la créativité.

Becoming "fluid" is what choreographers Pettit*Rochet propose as their exploration. Drawing from imagery, sensations, and the dynamics of the material "water," Nicholas Pettit and Corinne Rochet explore the themes of breath, energy, and momentum. Through this process, they develop a gestural vocabulary based on fluidity and liquidity. Straddling improvisation and learning, whether alone or in groups, the choreographers invite us to explore the principles of movement of a wave, a vortex, a ripple, a flow, and a tide. An approach that encourages and nurtures flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
